DOLL will be presenting "Patriots in Petticoats" program at the North Castle Historical Society annual meeting. The program describes life for the Women of the Revolution before and during the war. There will be a living history presentation by "Ann Fisher Miller" who was born in 1728 in Westchester and she will give a first hand account of what it was like to host General Washington and other Generals in her home (Miller House) and the sacrifices her family made for the cause of freedom. She will also discuss her role as the mother of Methodism in the local area at the time.
The program is educational as well as entertaining. FREE
