Join local farmer Mike Yoken of Nourishing Farms for a talk and discussion, on the topics of food, food-traditions, nutrition, and health, and how they relate to local food-production; land-use and value; our 'foodshed' and local 'food-security'. What do we eat, and how do we decide? How do we come by our food? Should we produce and eat more locally and if so how? How can all populations be included and benefit? Share what resources are available locally, what is already active and happening, and where the potential lies.
Adults only. Members Free, Non-members $7. All Welcome. Programs require pre-registration. To register, call 914-762-2912 x 110.
