At 1 PM, Professor Richard John of the Columbia University Journalism School explores the history of freedom of the press in America, with a focus on its religious and political dimension, amplifying themes of the site’s current feature exhibition, “Intrigue on the Village Green: The Election of 1733 at St. Paul’s”.  Dr. John’s publications include the award winning 2010 book, Network Nation: Inventing American Telecommunications
