Westchester County’s formal 9/11 memorial ceremony will take place Sept. 11 beginning at 7 p.m. at “The Rising” at the Kensico Dam. The public is invited to attend.

Please note: The “9/11: Serve + Remember” event hosted by Volunteer New York! and Robison takes place at the Westchester County Center from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Special focus will be given this year to the everyday heroes who save lives by donating blood, bone marrow and stem cells, as well as those who volunteer as first responders in their communities.

The public is invited to attend both events.
