Ossining, NY – On Saturday, June 4 at 2 pm, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) of Ossining will present A Taste of WCT, a one-time chance to get a free glimpse into the savory menu of offerings from Westchester’s only ensemble theater company exclusively devoted to developing new works by local playwrights and performed by skilled actors from Westchester and the surrounding region. The event will be held at the Camille Budarz Theater, Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Ave., Ossining, NY. Slated for performance are a selection of works that evolved from WCT’s play development workshops: A scene from A Short Walk into Sunshine, a full-length play written and directed by Joe Albert Lima that had its debut as WCT’s mainstage production in fall 2015; performances of one-act plays that appeared in WCT’s sold out Living Art Event this past March; and three monologues that run the gamut from hilarious farce to high-impact drama that will be part of a WCT first-of-its kind event, Notes from the Frontlines: Nine Monologues running Friday, June 17th through Sunday, June 19th at the Steamer Co. Gallery 117 Main St., Ossining.
