Maralyn Matlick will exhibit in the Martucci Gallery at the Irvington Public Library from September 2nd to October 28.  Ms. Matlick is a non-representational painter, preferring to express the essence and feeling of her subject, rather than the subject itself.  She works on paper and on canvas, with acrylics, watercolor, oil stick, pastel and ink. Her inspiration is her travels: Maine, New York City, and the lower Hudson Valley where she now lives.  She has won numerous awards for her work.  She is a member of the Scarsdale Art Association and a juried artist member of the Salmagundi Club of New York.

Gallery hours are: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Irvington Public Library, 12 South Astor Street, Irvington, NY 10533  914-591-7840; www.irvingtonlibrary.org/meet.htm
