A recognition of Black History Month At 1 PM, learn about the great 19th and 20th century black author and intellectual leader W.E.B. Du Bois, through a talk by Professor Mark Christian of Lehman College. Dr. Du Bois was the first black scholar to achieve a Ph.D. from Harvard University, and devoted nearly 70 years to advancing the conditions of the lives of African Americans.
