Ray Blue Organ Trio to Perform at WCT Performance Space

Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) continues its Jazz Masters program with the Ray Blue Organ Trio, featuring world-renowned tenor saxophonist Ray Blue of Peekskill, a New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee who has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Africa. Ray and his trio will perform at WCT’s space at 23 Water St. in Ossining on Saturday, August 19 at 8 pm. Saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator Blue, who has appeared at “Africa’s Grandest Gathering,” the prestigious Cape Town International Festival, will share the stage with organist Jared Gold and drummer Dwayne “Cook” Broadnax.


Tickets for the concert are $15. Purchase them online at WCT’s website: wctheater.org (limited seating available; advance purchase is strongly recommended.) Refreshments will be available for sale.


Blue has been honored with the Iowa Juneteenth Jazz Legacy Award, the Arts Education Award, and with Peekskill Middle School’s Living Legacy Award. He is the founder of Cross-Cultural Connection, Inc. a non-profit organization that promotes jazz culture, performance and education.
