The PCRB Library Film Club

The film chosen for the virtual session via Zoom is A League of Their Own (1992), directed by Tim Galvin.

As America's stock of athletic young men is depleted during World War II, a professional all-female baseball league springs up in the Midwest. Competitive sisters Dottie Hinson (Geena Davis) and Kit Keller (Lori Petty) spar with each other, while scout Ernie Capadino (Jon Lovitz) and grumpy has-been coach Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) lead them on their way to fame.

Please watch the film on your own before the session. A limited number of copies will be available at the library starting March 6th. The film is also available for streaming on HULU and AMAZON PRIME.
