You’ve Got a Date with History!

You’re invited to the historic Jacob Purdy House to hear the compelling war time saga of the Bronx River. Famed historian and author Stephen DeVillo will dramatize the river’s vital role in the Battle of White Plains and during the entire War of Independence. You’ll also be included in the Annual Meeting of the White Plains Historical Society and see what’s new at the Purdy House including the new diorama of the Battle of White Plains.
