Over time, invasive vines such as porcelain berry, oriental bittersweet and mile-a-minute can cause the early demise and disappearance of native trees, shrubs and wildflowers. Loss of native host-specific plants for insects means migrating and nesting birds may not have enough insect food to feed their young during critical times of the year. |
