Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center is sponsoring the popular Safekeeping Stories of the Holocaust Workshop. This workshop is designed specifically for family members of Holocaust survivors who would like to preserve their family’s Holocaust story. For the past several years, family members of Holocaust survivors throughout Westchester have found this workshop to be a profound and meaningful experience. This 8-session workshop is offered in a small group setting. Participants will learn the tools of Storykeeping, a modern approach to preserving family stories that is practical, easy-to-use, and yields results. There is limited availability so early registration is advised. Dates for this workshop are Wednesdays from I p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on February 5, 12, 26, March 4, 11, 18, 25, and April 1. The snow date is April 15. The location is the Safekeeping Stories office, 4 Gilder Street, Larchmont, NY 10538. The facilitator is Jill Sarkozi. 2020 is the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Mark this important moment in history by safekeeping your family member’s story of survival. A free membership to the Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center with benefits at the Household Level ($100 value) is included with workshop registration to provide additional resources for exploring your family’s story! Cost is $360 for the 8 sessions. To learn more, please e-mail Jill Sarkozi at https://hhrecny.z2systems.com/np/clients/hhrecny/event.jsp?event=632 |
