An introduction to Naturopathic Medicine and how a Naturopathic Doctor can be a helpful part of your cancer care team. The speaker will discuss how she works with patients, as well as the following topics: Some common naturopathic recommendations during and after cancer treatment; Functional medicine testing; Hormone balancing; Bone health; The latest information from the Society for Integrative Oncology Conference regarding nutrition, intermittent fasting and exercise recommendations.

SPEAKER: Dr. Abby Egginton is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor practicing in Ridgefield, CT and Pleasantville, NY. She earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and then completed a residency in Naturopathic Oncology, at Indiana University Cancer Center followed by a fellowship at Bastyr.
