Students learn about the basics of electricity, and how to create circuits with paper and conductive tape. They are encouraged to think creatively about how the circuits can be displayed, hidden, or deliberately shown, and how to incorporate artistry in what they do. We will also learn how to make our own homemade batteries out of pennies. Supplies will be provided from the Library. When they are ready you will be contacted to pick them up via contact-less curbside pickup. Participants must be able to attend both sessions. Registration is required. This program is funded by a generous grant from Verisk Analytics to the White Plains Library Foundation. |
