Commemorating Veterans Day, Park Ranger Michael Callahan explores the life and service of Harmon Bloodgood, who served in a regular Army cavalry regiment during the Civil War, including combat in the often-overlooked theater of the West. He worked on several projects as a stone mason in metropolitan New York in the late 19th century, including the erection of a new steeple at St. Paul’s, and died in 1912, followed by burial at St. Paul’s near his wife and daughters.  This will be a live distance presentation, through a shared platform. For registration:  https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/event-details.htm?id=8D018939-D7A1-B7E3-E59262D5F0E191EF

As part of our commemoration of Veterans Day, we also offer self-guided tours recalling the lives and service of many veterans buried in the historic cemetery at St. Paul’s. The self-guided tours are available from 10 AM to 4 PM, and no registration is necessary.
