In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Clay Art Center is hosting a special event during the month of October. Clay Art Center artist, Susan Wortman, will present her Winged Women Series of handmade porcelain small sculptures for sale online and in the gallery October 1 – 31. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the sale of each sculpture will go to Cancer Support Team, a Westchester based non-profit that provides services to cancer patients and their families. Meet Susan in person Monday, October 3 from 6:30 – 8pm at Clay Art Center (40 Beech Street, Port Chester, NY) and hear Susan discuss how these hand-built sculptures helped her heal from her own breast cancer diagnosis & treatment.
