Congregation Emau-El and HHREC Kristallnacht Program: Polish Women Who Fought The Nazis With Artist Paula Blumenfeld

Thursday, November 10, 2022  07:00pm  09:00pm

Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester and Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center Kristallnacht Program: Polish Jewish Women Who Fought The Nazis With Artist Paula Blumenfeld

Please join us on November 10 at 7:00 p.m. to hear the incredible stories of the lives of these women. Their stories remained largely untold until last year when author Judy Batalion chronicled their experiences in her book The Light of Days.  Now, based on black and white photographs that have survived, artist Paula Blumenfeld is telling their stories of selflessness, and their dedication to the Jewish people in defiance of the Nazis.

Discussion will be moderated by Steven Goldberg, Education Director, Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center.

This program will be held at Congregation Emanu-El, 2125 Westchester Avenue East, Rye, NY  10580.

For registration and more information, please contact Jane Dubro at
