As part of its 25th Anniversary celebration, Taconic Opera invites you to its very first December holiday concert, performing the oratorio that has survived almost 3 centuries since first presented in Dublin in 1742: George Frideric Handel’s magnificent Messiah. No need to go to Carnegie Hall when you can hear it practically in your own back yard. Hear the Messiah in a whole new way - not as sung by soloists and chorus, but as sung by opera soloists and an opera chorus…and with full professional orchestra. Fun Facts:
Two weekend matinee concerts in central Westchester: Sat., Dec. 10, and Sun., Dec. 11 , 3 pm Holy Name of Mary Church 110 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson.
