Holocaust Genealogy Research

Thursday, January 26, 2023  07:00pm  08:00pm

Genealogy research in connection with the Holocaust can be both painful and rewarding. It offers one the opportunity to identify and memorialize family members, friends and neighbors who may, or may not, have been killed by the Nazis and their collaborators during World War II. Now, more than 70 years after the end of the War, Holocaust era records are not only being made widely available but also digitized and indexed. In this hour-long session, we will explore reasons to do Holocaust-era genealogy research, what records were (and were not) created during and after the War, and how to locate and access those records.
