The Purchase Symphony Orchestra is made up of the phenomenally talented students of the Conservatory of Music. Every player is coached individually and jointly towards making each Purchase Symphony Orchestra concert a memorable occasion. The Purchase Symphony Orchestra is proud to represent the great tradition of Western Classical Music to the Purchase community and beyond.

The Purchase Chorus is the principal Classical voice ensemble of Purchase College.  The chorus consists of both graduate and undergraduate vocal majors together with gifted singers majoring in other subjects in Purchase College.  The chorus delves into the great canon of Western classical music, both well-known works and lesser known ones, and the ensemble performs both a cappella and with the partnership of The Purchase Symphony Orchestra for larger programs.
