Special presentation on “Native Americans in the Colonial Militias and Wars (1750-1780)” at 1pm. Learn about Colonial life from Native American, living historian Drew Shuptar-Rayvis. Learn about Native American involvement in the military and militia during the colonial wars of the 18th century. Handle tools and devices of the time. Learn about life for the native Americans and Colonials and visit with re-enactors. Great for the whole family! Also, guided tours will be offered of historic Purdy House (12pm - 4pm) , a national, state and local landmark built in 1721 and used by General George Washington as his military headquarters during the 1776 Battle of White Plains.
