Join us for a musical journey – from chants of Hildegard von Bingen, an influential abbess of the 12th century to a new setting of Ave Maria by Sergey Kvoschchinsky, a contemporary composer from Belarus. Along the way, there will be old favorites and surprising discoveries: Hildegard von Bingen, O viriditas digiti dei (c. 1160)
Hudson Chorale, under the baton of Artistic Director David Baranowski, will perform with organist David Hughes and soprano Brittany Palmer. The concerts will be on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 at 3pm, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 8 Sunnyside Ave, Pleasantville, NY. Tickets can be purchased for $30 each from members of the Hudson Chorale, or through https://bit.ly/HCMarchConcert For further information, please visit www.HudsonChorale.org or email us at Hudson Chorale is grateful to the New York State Council on the Arts, the Westchester Community Foundation, and Arts Westchester which awarded us funds to support our work and community outreach this year. |
