Indigenous Occupation of Newfoundland: The Beginning and End

This talk will focus on the work of Christopher B. Wolff, University at Albany (SUNY), which examines the earliest colonization and occupation of the island of Newfoundland by the Maritime Archaic people in the middle Holocene and recent research on the Beothuk culture, which became culturally extinct in the early 19th century.
