As a senior member of your family, you are in a unique situation, serving as a bridge between the past and the future. From this presentation you will learn how to: - Tell your family story – Fill in the missing pieces – Preserve the history for future generations. Ample time will be allowed for questions. ALAN STEINFELD has been exploring his family’s genealogy for over 40 years. A native of NYC, he traces his ancestry to Russia and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His studies have turned up over 5,500 relatives and stimulated a book on the subject as well as a family newsletter now in its 33rd year. He has written articles published in Avotaynu, the International Journal of Jewish Genealogy, and contributed a chapter to the book Every Family has a Story. |
