Heels & Wheels 5K Road Race & Walk

The 2018 Heels and Wheels 5k will be held Sunday, May 6th at 9:00am. 

Attention runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes: Join us Sunday, May 6, at Burke for the annual Heels & Wheels 5K and Kids Fun Run!

This community event, which is held rain or shine, happens on Burke’s campus and includes a 5K, a Kids Fun Run and great activities for the whole family.

Open to walkers, runners, hand cyclists and racing wheelchair athletes, the 5K is unique in that it is one of the only events of its kind that allows participants of all ability levels to compete together in a supportive environment.

Registration and packet pickup begins on 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event, with the 5K beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Kids Fun Run registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the race commences at 10:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served at 11:00 a.m.

Community members are invited to cheer on the athletes.
