How do larger predators interact with changing landscapes? As sightings of coyotes, bobcats and bears increase in our rural-suburban landscape, the relationship between larger predators and human-influenced landscapes is of growing importance and interest. Dr. Melissa Grigione, Professor of Biology at Pace University, will discuss how ecological and human-made elements influence home range size and location of predator species. Free and open to the public. Suggested for ages 10 and up. |
