Artwork created by men and women while incarcerated in New York State prisons will be featured in an exhibit titled "Images From Behind Prison Walls," presented by Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) July 1-31 at the Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Avenue.The public is invited to a free wine and cheese reception in the library gallery Saturday, July 14, from 3 to 5pm. Guests will be able to meet and speak with formerly incarcerated RTA artists who are graduates of RTA art courses and have pieces in the exhibit. More than 60 pieces of art from incarcerated men and women will be on view. All the artwork will be available for sale, with proceeds going toward the purchase of art supplies for RTA prison art programs. In addition to RTA, sponsors of the exhibition are the Ossining Arts Council, the Sing Sing Prison Museum, and the Ossining Public Library. For more information, email .
