Solo Acoustic Guitarist and Westchester Native Drew Bordeaux Performs at Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT)

Saturday, September 08, 2018  07:30pm  09:30pm

Ossining, NY - On Saturday, September 8, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) will present another world-class musical artist with an appearance by vocalist and guitar soloist Drew Bordeaux. A Mount Kisco native well known throughout the Hudson Valley, the tri-state metro region and beyond, Bordeaux is a singer/songwriter and producer who plays compelling solo acoustic shows rooted in percussive acoustic guitar and earthy/soulful vocals, laced with live loops and violin solos.  He has jammed with Lauryn Hill, performed with Dave Bickler (of Survivor), opened for Daughtry and Boz Scaggs, and played at such iconic NYC venues as The Bitter End and Café Vivaldi.

Drew meshes together core influences from blues to popular radio and the resulting sound harks back to the lineage of Bill Withers and Richie Havens, with the energy and spirit of such 80s New Wave sounds as The Police and Talking Heads, and the contemporary sonic stamp of Ed Sheeran, Ben Harper and David Gray.Drew's incendiary bass, violin, and guitar skills have been featured in over a dozen rock bands and his violin playing can be heard on recent recordings from the brilliant songwriters Marc Von Em and Steve Chizmadia.

Drew Bordeaux will play at WCT’s Black Box at 23 Water St. at 7:30pm. Tickets, $20, can be purchased online at: https://bordeauxwct18.brownpapertickets.com/
(limited seating available; advance purchase is strongly recommended.) Refreshments will be available.
