Our exciting "1st Poetry Slam & Open Mic @ White Plains Public Library Our exciting "1st Wednesday" series continues with Open Mic, SLAM competition and feature performance from guest poetWonder Dave! Wonder Dave is a writer and comedian from Minneapolis, MN, now living in San FranciscoCalifornia. He has toured the country performing at colleges, cabarets, sci-fi and comic conventions,burlesque shows, strip clubs and bowling alleys. He has been featured on the Risk Podcast and is a regulardebater on the comedy debate podcast Nerd Rage: The Great Debates. His writing has been appeared inseveral publications including; the UK Guardian, 7x7 Magazine, SF Weekly, and Shit Creek review. To takepart in the open mic or slam, please register between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. Slam poets should bring at leastone original poem of up to 3 minutes.
