Veterans Day Commemoration, observing the centennial of Armistice Day, 1918, with a 1 PM talk about memories of the First World War by Professor Kimberly J. Lamay Licursi of Siena College, based on her recently published book, “Remembering World War I in America”. Arrive early, at 11 AM, for a Veterans Day ceremony in the church, followed by laying of wreaths and a tour of the historic cemetery, recalling the lives and service of veterans buried at St. Paul’s. Keynote speaker for the ceremony event will by Kristyn Reed, Director of the Mt. Vernon Veterans Service Agency.
