Fall is in the air. The days are getting shorter, the weather is nippier and some of our birds are heading south… Join Sheldrake and Doug Bloom as we look for late fall migrating birds, as well as our locally wintering birds. Doug is a former president of the Bronx River-Sound Shore Audubon Society and its current vice president. He is a lifelong birder, current birding field trip leader, and all-around nature and birding enthusiast. Meet at 8 am at the Sheldrake Environmental Center main parking lot. Please bring binoculars if you have them. FREE. This trip is made possible through the generous support of Con Edison. Register in advance. |
