The Listening Eye

The internationally-acclaimed Music from Copland House ensemble presents a vivid program of music inspired by visual imagery, exploring identity, society, loss, and renewal. A major digital installation by famed video artist Bill Viola and paintings by Georgia O’Keeffe and the Mexican master Rufino Tamayo were catalysts for musical works by, respectively, two Pulitzer Prize-winners, Kevin Puts and Steven Stucky, and renowned Yale professor Kathryn Alexander, a 2007 Copland House Resident.
