This is an annual event for 4-H members all across the country. Club members have this opportunity to increase their public speaking skills. Most members choose to present an “Illustrated Talk” which allows them to use props, posters, or a power point. Each talk lasts about 10 minutes, and afterwards a team of evaluators will give positive feedback (one on one) to the speaker. If a 4-H member has given an outstanding presentation, they may qualify to present again during the Southeastern NY 4-H Public Presentation event. The public is most welcome to come listen to the talks. Each speaker will have a Q&A time at the end of their presentation.
