Catch a Great Night of Comedy LIVE at The Paramount!

Three Great Comedians, One Great Night!

Jimmy Shubert has built an impressive resume as an actor, both in film and on television. He can currently be seen in a movie entitled “American Nightmares” with Danny Trejo, Vivica Fox and, Jay Morh on Cinemax. He also just wrapped filming scenes in a new movie entitled “Puppy Love” with Hopper Penn, Michael Madsen and, Rosanne Arquette heading for a major theatrical release. As a comedian, he is one of the busiest comedians working today. After becoming a finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and, being seen on Comedy Central as the closing act on Dave Atell’s Comedy Underground. He also just wrapped post- production on his brand new hour special entitled “Zero Tolerance” – soon to be seen on a premium cable network.

Joe Starr was born in Brooklyn, New York, on New Years Eve, 1969. Joe studied acting at the J. Beckson Studios in NYC while also touring the United States, Canada and Europe as a professional Stand-up Comedian. It was a recurring role on “Important Things with Demitri Martin” (Comedy Central) that caught the attention of New York’s biggest Casting Directors. Joe Starr was soon Guest Starring on major Network shows (Gotham, Blue Bloods, Bull) and acting in major motion pictures (The Adventures of Tintin, Chuck, Date Night). He has acted along side Liev Schreiber, Andy Serkis, & Daniel Craig, and has been directed by such luminaries as Oliver Stone, Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg. Recently, Joe received great reviews for playing “Enzo” on CBS’s hit “Kevin Can Wait”. Joe Starr is the grandson of vaudeville dancer, Wally Valez, and spent his youth learning to use his body for Comedy instead of Dance. His lifelong study of the history and traditions of Show Business has made him a favorite guest on podcasts about The Biz and a guest speaker for Stand-up Comedy Classes and Acting Seminars. An ‘old soul’ at heart, it was none other than Comedy Legend, Jerry Lewis, who gave Joe the title of ‘The youngest old man in Show Business.”

John Iavarone was born in the Bronx and lived there until his mom decided to migrate miles away (2 to be exact) on to the mean streets of...Westchester County. Now, John has his headquarters in “The Heights.” John has been doing stand-up comedy for 2,920 days (not in a row). Whether it’s an 8 minute or 38 minute set at a Club, Corporate Function, Private Party or Fundraiser John’s audience describes his hysterically funny set in one word, Honest, Original, Animated! OK, that was 1 word, but from 3 different audiences. So if you want to hear his take on Current Events, Marriage, or Children. Ask his wife, or even better, come see him live!
