National Foster Care Awareness Event

 

Come celebrate foster youth and those who have assisted foster youth, in some capacity.

 

We will be awarding:

 

“The Robert Cooper Memorial Scholarship” & “The Citizen of Change” award to:

 

Judith, Lynn & The Beville family, for fostering close to 100 foster youth in Westchester County, since 1945!

 

Schoquilla Colemen,  Family Services of Westchester - Pelham

 

“The Aged Out Panel” Turning trauma into a motivator, the panel will share their personal stories.

 

Software Engineer, Sirrele Steinfeld, Board Member, Donna Maddox & Author, Tanya Cooper

 

This is a free awareness event to the public. Come hear how you can help a foster youth. What you know, can save or change a life!

 

Learn about free online coding & programming classes

 

Q & A tech session for foster youth with former foster, UCLA Grad & Software Engineer, Sirrele Steinfeld  3:00 – 4:30pm

 

 

Awards Ceremony 5:00 – 6:30pm
