Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center-Monuments and Memorials: Creation and Controversy

Monuments and Memorials are intentional and purposeful creations designed to provide a bridge to the past, to lives, and to events.  This program explains how Germany has confronted Holocaust history by creating different kinds of remembrances.  Using a slide presentation, Steven Goldberg and Julia Scallero, Co-Directors of Education of the Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center, will discuss various types of memorials, including the most recently completed sites.

Please join us for this informative program Wednesday, June 12, 6:30 pm at the Mamaroneck Library, 136 Prospect Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY  10543.

This program is free and open to all.
