Carson Daly dubbed Milo Z a “New York institution” when Milo performed on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly! For 3 decades Milo Z has been bringing his own original style of music, “Razzamofunk” a blend of Rock, Rap, R&B, Jazz and Funk to the big Apple and the world. Born and raised on New York’s Lower East Side, Milo got his start in music after boosting some drums out of the back of a truck at the age of 13. Fast forward a few years and Milo would be making a living as a drummer and part time bicycle messenger performing at clubs and bars all over NYC. Soon though, drumming wasn’t enough so Milo began rapping becoming Milo Z the White Rapper from avenue D. This eventually led to singing and song writing and becoming a front man/band leader and the rest we shall say is history. Milo Z has performed all over the world and has released 6 albums to date. Milo Z’s song “Dog” (Mercury Polygram) appeared in the popular talk show Baywatch as well as the hit movie See Spot Run. Milo Z’s music has also been featured in indie classics like “The Deli” (directed by John Gallagher). Milo Z continues to write, record and perform; leaving his audiences dripping with sweat exhausted from dancing to his infectious Razzamofunk Music. Milo Z has just released a new single “Rubberbands” a serious a thought provoking song on the madness of school shootings. The song is written from a parents perspective. Milo Z has shared the stage with many of the greats such as Al Greene, The Neville Brothers, Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, Massive Attack, KRS1 and Prince’s the NPG among others. To experience a Milo Z show is to experience a true performer. Whether he’s directing his band, dancing like a maniac or doing call and response with his audience, the excitement is undeniable and unique.  To watch Milo Z and his band in action is to experience something unique and original!
