COLONIAL DAY IN MT. PLEASANT, NY

Flag raising and blessing the troops at 10am! Come meet George Washington as he discusses the Battle of Brooklyn and White Plains, watch a Tombstone carving demo (hands on), tour the old cemetery where Rev soldiers rest. Colonial kids program at 2pm (tri-corner hat making, drilling with troops, stories of what life was like), militia drilling and muskets, re-enactors, learn what it was like for women during that era, hear a fiery brimstone lecture from colonial patriot "Pastor Muhlenberg". Hear about the important role the church had during the Revolution.
