Object Drawing: A Virtual Workshop for Women with Cancer |

A free program presented by Support Connection, Inc. Open to people nationwide who have or have had breast, ovarian or gynecological cancer. Limited to 15 participants. Relax, unwind and enjoy yourself in this virtual art program where you’ll draw favorite items from your home. Appropriate for all skill levels from beginners to more advanced. Learn how to draw objects in your home, starting with basic shapes and finishing with details and texture. Explore shading techniques such as blending, smudging, hatching, stippling and more, to capture what you see in your homes every day. Object drawing can be enjoyed using only simple pencil and paper. However, participants are also encouraged to use any additional supplies they may have available: colored pencils, pens, markers, pastels, paint, thicker paper etc. INSTRUCTOR: Lauren Hollick, Program Director and Teaching Artist at The Art Effect. Lauren will provide easy to follow instructions.
