Join librarian BARBARA WENGLIN for our fall series using the anthology, /100 Years of the Best American Short Stories/ (ed. Lorrie Moore, c2015) focusing on the theme of "Couples." For this session, read "What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank" by Nathan Englander. Two middle-aged couples reunite after taking different life paths--and play a scary parlor game. Anthology is available to borrow in WLS and WP collections, also as an eBook in Hoopla and Libby/Overdrive. Other dates in series: 12/9/21, 1/6/22; 1/13/22 and 1/20/22 (film discussions).
