Come sweeten up your Saturday! Throughout the day, naturalists will demonstrate traditional and modern methods of making maple syrup. Attendees will get to see how trees are tapped and how the sap is collected and boiled down. Taste testers are welcome to try samples and partake in trying to tell the difference between real maple syrup and fake maple syrup. If the weather allows, guests will be in for an even sweeter treat of "sugar on snow," during which maple sap is poured on snow and served as a candy. This is fun for the whole family during this special time of year. |
