2022 Hudson Valley New Voices Festival Returns To Westchester Collaborative Theater |

The 2022 Hudson Valley New Voices, a festival of one-act plays written by underserved constituencies in our community, returns to Westchester Collaborative Theater on June 4 and 5 after an acclaimed run last year. This latest iteration of the festival will feature plays that have evolved from their original production in the 2021 festival. The performance will feature works created by young people, members of the BIPOC community and seniors. Internationally renowned guitarist/vocalist KJ Denhert will provide musical accompaniment throughout the performance. Performances will run Saturday June 4 at 2 & 8pm and Sunday June 5 The plays are: "Goodnight I Love You" by Aladen Gulmohamad, featuring D. Scott Faubel and Brenda Hettmansberger. "Waiting for Grayson" by Kimberly Mallory, featuring Jessica Bonds and Donna James. "St. Chris," story by Maureen Morgan, adapted for the stage by Serena Norr, featuring Katie May Porter. "Freedom Hall," story by Bill Lafferty, adapted for the stage by Mel Nocera featuring Rob Ansbro. The entire production is under the direction of Mel Nocera. Julia LaVerde is the co-producer. Performances run on Saturday June 4 at 2 & 8pm and Sunday June 5 at 3pm. General admission tickets are $25; $20 for seniors, students, WCT members and veterans.
