The Butterfly Project- A Call to Action Through The Arts
Please join the Shames JCC, Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center, Westchester Jewish Council, UJA, Temple Israel of Northern Westchester, Temple Shaaray Tefila, and Temple Beth Abraham on June 8 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the Butterfly Project.
The Butterfly Project uses the lessons of the Holocaust to recall the dangers of hatred and bigotry through the painting of ceramic butterflies, permanently displayed around the world to memorialize each of the 1.5 million children that perished in the Holocaust.
Your butterflies will be displayed as part of a future installment at the Shames JCC.
This program is free and open to all adults. Registration is necessary.
