After an Ovarian Cancer diagnosis there are many concerns and challenges that arise.  Join us for an open discussion where you can connect with others diagnosed with ovarian and gynecological cancer and discuss issues such as:  

• Managing side-effects
• Pelvic Health / Sexuality
• Staying educated on what’s new for Ovarian Cancer
• Mental & emotional health
• Living with the fear of recurrence
• Bone Health

All topics of interest are welcome.

This open discussion group provides a safe space to talk with other women experiencing similar concerns and questions. This is not an educational program; there will not be any professionals speaking about the medical or psychosocial aspects of cancer. Our Open Discussions present a valuable opportunity to connect with others with similar concerns who understand what you’re going through, and a chance to help one another by sharing information, resources, and coping strategies.

This discussion will be facilitated by a Support Connection Peer Counselor whose experience includes an ovarian cancer diagnosis.
