The Symphony of Westchester turns the spotlight on young musicians at its annual Family Program

The featured soloist will be the winner of the second annual Concerto Competition that the Symphony hosts with the Hoff-Barthelson Music School of Scarsdale.  This student, chosen from a field of 11 contestants aged 10-16, will perform a movement from Mozart's Piano Concerto, No. 9. K. 271, in E-flat Major.

Members of the Symphony will perform compositions written by students in the Composers of the Future workshop, run by the Symphony in collaboration with New Rochelle’s Songcatchers after-school program.
