Geri Shatz is the former chair of the Sapphire Society as well as a former president of Jewish National Fund’s Bucks County region. The daughter of Holocaust escapees who each fled Vienna as a teenager and made a new life in the United States, commitment to democracy and the mitzvot of tzedakah and tikkum olam continues to form the ethos of her home.
