LOFT Pride Day 2015

These three words; Advocate, Educate and Celebrate embody our mission with all the support, program and services we provide at The LOFT. As we Celebrate LOFT PRIDE this June those same three words will be evident as the backbone of our PRIDE Celebration.

It is hereby proclaimed: “LOFT PRIDE – June 6, 2015”. An all day and admission free event held on The LOFT grounds in White Plains. We are embarking on our biggest one day event bringing hundreds of Westchester residents and our neighbors together for a fun and inspiring day.

An undertaking this large requires strong support from our members and friends. We need a team of volunteers, donated services and products, involvement of local businesses and community groups, and financial support from many to achieve success.

In keeping with our mission and event theme, LOFT PRIDE will have sectioned areas titled: Advocate, Educate and Celebrate. LOFT PRIDE participants will Educate all citizens about the issues and concerns of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender citizens; Advocate for and encourage the participation of GLBT people in the educational, cultural and civic life of Westchester County and the entire Lower Hudson Valley: and Celebrate in the diversity of the GLBT community with entertainment options to lift and demonstrate our pride and especially LOFT PRIDE. Music, dancing, games and a return visit of the Glamazons are just a few of our highlights you can expect. We will have activities for our friends of all ages; craft areas, delicious food offerings, vendor mart and more.
