M&M Productions Acting Company in conjunction with the Red Monkey Theater Group will present "Becky Shaw" at the Irvington Public Library on Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m. In "Becky Shaw," a newlywed couple decide to fix up two romantically challenged friends. When an evening calculated to bring happiness takes a dark turn, crisis and comedy ensue. This wickedly funny play asks what do we owe the people we love and the strangers who land on our doorstep. "Becky Shaw" was written by Gina Gionfriddo and is directed by Joe Laureiro with the acting talents of Holland Renton, Sean M. Grady, Kelly Kirby, Ray Frye and Zoey Rutherford as Becky.
The performance is free, thanks to the financial support of the Friends of Irvington Library. Irvington Public Library, 12 South Astor Street, Irvington, NY. 914-591-7840; www.irvingtonlibrary.org/
