Dobbs Ferry's Road to Freedom Day

Join the Walk led by fife & drum and the Second New York Regiment reenactors as we follow along the route of the Continental Army as the departed Dobbs Ferry for Yorktown, Virginia, on August 19, 1781. 

* Talk to costumed reenactors about life in the Continental Army

* Kids can muster in and drill with the 2nd NY

* See historical artifacts and reproductions, including tent, uniforms and everyday items used by soldiers, Native Americans and colonists

* Learn about fashion and makeup from a lady of the period

* Make your own ice cream sundae
