"Abstract Thinking: Works on Canvas and Paper" by Maralyn Matlick

Maralyn Matlick will have a solo exhibit entitled, "Abstract Thinking: Works on Canvas and On Paper," in the Martucci Gallery at the Irvington Public Library, from September 2 until October 27.  The exhibit will be available to view on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Closed Sundays.

Maralyn Matlick is a non-representational painter, working in watercolor, pastel, oil stick, acrylic and ink.  Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries and shows throughout the New York metropolitan area, including the lower Hudson River Valley, where she lives and maintains her studio.  She is a juried artist member of the Salmagundi Club in New York City and the Scarsdale Art Association.  She has had solo exhibitions in numerous venues, including Piermont Flywheel Gallery in Piermont, NY; Upstream Gallery in Hastings-On-Hudson and the Matucci Gallery in the Irvington Public Library, Irvington, NY.
